EMERGENCY FIRST AID at WORK

The Emergency First Aid at Work Course is a one-day training course designed to meet the needs of your workplace.

The course can be tailored to suit your specific working environment and is particularly suitable for lower-risk workplaces, in line with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

The course includes an assessment/examination, along with instructor feedback and guidance throughout the practical exercises.

As with all First Aid qualifications, it is strongly recommended that qualified first aiders attend a three-hour annual refresher course to maintain and refresh their knowledge and practical skills.

NOTE

This qualification is assessed through practical demonstration.

Scenarios are set recreating a real-life situation as far as possible to enable a learner to demonstrate their knowledge and practical skills. During the practical assessment the leaner will be asked set related oral questions by the trainer/assessor.

The practical assessment is ongoing throughout the course with the trainer/assessor making learners aware of when they are being assessed and what they are required to demonstrate.

A learner must satisfactorily complete each scenario to pass the practical assessment.

The qualification consists of one unit which leaners must successfully complete to achieve the qualification.
