With legal restrictions being lifted, you still have an obligation to manage the risks within the workplace so it doesn’t mean you should drop all the precautions you had in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Government website states “Employers and others must continue to follow statutory health and safety requirements, conduct a risk assessment and take reasonable steps to manage risks in the workplace or setting”
It is now down to you to identify how far to go in managing the risks. Some key points to include when completing your Risk Assessment are: wearing of face coverings, the use of hand sanitiser, cleaning practices, ventilation and any isolation arrangements should they be required.
